To obtain the most objective testing results, we work closely with each customer, carefully understanding their specific requirements and the conditions throughout their product’s shipping journey.

We then simulate temperature conditions, cargo load, insulated container material (foam boxes), and other factors affecting the shipping process, and conduct testing with Fuji Ice’s gel ice packs and insulated containers.

Finally, we send a test report with product and solution recommendations best suited to each specific case.

WHY YOU SHOULD TEST GEL ICE PACKS BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE DECISION

Each type of gel ice pack has different characteristics in terms of temperature range and cooling duration.

Many factors affect the temperature and cooling duration of gel ice packs, such as: ambient temperature, the volume of products to be preserved, the required temperature range, shipping duration, and more.

The quantity of gel ice packs needed for each shipment must be tested in real conditions to optimize temperature and total package weight. If too few gel ice packs are used, the required temperature and cooling duration cannot be guaranteed. Conversely, using too many gel ice packs increases the package weight, leading to higher gel ice pack costs and shipping fees.

This is especially critical for vaccines, pharmaceuticals, veterinary medicines, biotech products, gene-related products, and similar items, which must be preserved precisely within the required temperature range. Therefore, thorough testing is essential to select the most optimal solution.
